Rockville is proud to introduce our new RCS series of products. The RCS180-6 is a 180 Watt 6-zone rack mountable digital hybrid amplifier/receiver. This amplifier is capable of 70 volt, 100 volt, 8-ohm, and 4-ohm applications. This makes it perfect for use in a Restaurant/Bar/Caf/Lounge/School/Conference room or any other setting where many speakers are needed.This model offers 180 watts at 70 volt and you can either use the binding posts for single zone applications or use the speaker wire outputs and split the power up to 6 zones. (Do not exceed 100 watts on a single zone). Each zone can have an unlimited amount of speakers wired in parallel. You can also split the 180 watts into 6 zones as you please. For example you can put 25 watts to each of the 6 zones or 50 watts to 2 zones and 12 watts to each of the remaining zones. Simply put, ifthe total watts are under 180 then you are OK. (Most professionals recommend you not exceed 80% of the amp power. We recommend your speakers watts not to be more than 150 total on the speaker taps.With 3 mic inputs; each with echo control, you can use this amplifier for announcements, speeches or even Karaoke night! This model also includes a chime button so you can create a chime sound before making announcements.The RCS series features Bluetooth audio streaming so you can play your favorite music or access a playlist right from your phone! This amp also features both USB and SD inputs allowing you to play audio stored on a USB thumb drive or SD Card. There are also 2-line inputs that allow you to plug in another audio device such as an MP3 player, CD player, TV, etc. This is our new and improved version that now has optical input so you can connect this to a digital source like a television or projector.Individual volume knobs for each of the 6 zones and volume knobs for each of the 3 mic inputs gives you full control over your system.The built-in clipping limiter function protects your speakers and the amp from overheating. For further protection there is also a cooling system in this amplifier that will keep the components running cool making the amplifier durable and reliable.This is our new and improved version with euro-block speaker terminals that make it super easy to install the wires even if the receiver is hidden in a corner. The terminals are detachable and once you connect your speaker wire to the terminal it just clicks into the receiver.Our goal with the RCS series was to make it possible for anyone to install 70 volt systems on their own without spending thousands of dollars on a contractor. This model makes it a breeze to connect many speakers and multiple external sources. We intentionally use common plugs like RCA and on our model to make this more universal and user friendly. In a restaurant for example you can tap your dining room speakers at 5 watts, the speakers by the bar area at 10 watts, the ones in the hallway at 3 watts and the speakers in the bathrooms at 1.5 watts. The Rockville Cube 70V black is a great choice for any restaurant, office, retail store, or any other commercial application. What makes these special is the minimal footprint that is stylish and unobtrusive. The speaker also includes our 360 degree mounting system that allows rotation in any direction for optimal sound staging. The slim design can be mounted anywhere quickly and easily.
2-Way configuration There is a couple of very famous companies who make speakers that look similar. In our opinion those speakers have no highs and no lows. That is because they use a one way design. Our model has a dedicated woofer for mids and a dedicated tweeter for highs giving you incredible sound quality.
Quick-disconnect terminals We use euro-block speaker terminals which are detachable so you can easily wire many speaker and quickly disconnect them at any time.
