The voice of emo rap=Lill Peep, born in Pennsylvania, passed away on November 15, 2017 at the age of 21, two years after his death. Lil Peep grew up on Long Island, NY and moved to Los Angeles at the age of 17 to begin his career. He has posted numerous songs on YouTube and SoundCloud since high school and has released four mixtapes and five EPs through 2016. His introspective and sentimental lyrics about drugs and depression, and his unique sound that mixes Hip Hop, Rock, Dream Pop, and other genres, have gained him a huge following among teenagers, especially in the sound crowds, and he has been called a "cloud rapper" and "emo rapper. He has also been acclaimed as "the future of emo" by the media around the world.In August 2017, the band released its long-awaited debut album, Come Over When You're Sober, Pt. 1. It garnered significant support, reaching #3 on the Alternative Albums chart and #16 on the Hip Hop Albums chart, but then died on November 15, 2017, while on tour, at the age of 21, due to an overdose. His untimely death was mourned by numerous music industry artists, including Sam Smith, Diplo, Mark Ronson, and Marshmello. This compilation album was released on November 15, 2019, exactly two years after his passing, to coincide with the release of EVERYBODY'S EVERYTHING, a documentary film about Lil Peep in his lifetime. Includes previously unreleased song material.
