Description:
Demetrio Stratos "Concerto all'Elfo (Live)" released in 1998 is the first live album by AREA's vocalist Demetrio Stratos. This is the first analog release of a live album by Demetrio Stratos, aka the vocal minstrel. His solo albums are different from those of ordinary vocalists in that they challenge the extremes of vocal technique and are highly experimental, but they are not difficult to understand and are pleasant to listen to. Demetrio's live performance is said to have been truly outstanding, with skit-like monologues as well as light-hearted talks. This is only a glimpse of what he could do, but it is a masterpiece of a live performance that proves he was a true master of superb technique, showing that he could reproduce a vocal performance better than the studio version with his live voice. Includes "Tema Populare," a one-man rendition of Areia's classic "Red Comet. First time on analog vinyl. It will be available in a limited 180g blue vinyl.
